The Serotta International Cycling Institute (SICI) X/Y Fitting Reference Tool
The SICI X/Y tool is used to easily document a rider’s position by describing the position of the handlebars and saddle relative to the bottom bracket, as well as measuring the reach and stack of a frame. This position reference information is valuable because it may be used to translate a fit position from the SICI Size Cycle (or existing bike) to other stock or custom bikes, to accurately perform alterations to existing bikes, and to create custom frame designs.
Using the X/Y tool, a position is easily reproduced from bike to bike. It is a fantastic visual representation of great “fit matches” on the sales floor following a fitting session, as well as a must-have tool for insuring the accuracy of the final set-up of custom, new stock, or altered existing bikes.
The X/Y tool is simple to use and comes with 4 different bottom bracket locators to fit a wide variety of bottom bracket types.
