This improved, quieter transmission is an upgrade from the transmissions outfitted on the Fit Bikes sold before 6/1/2011. When your transmission upgrade order is placed, we send you out one of our loaner transmissions. You must then return your transmission in the case provided. Upgrade turn around time is generally one week. We will then send back your transmission and require you to return the loaner. The time frame for the entire process hinges on your quick return of your transmission and the loaner.
Transmission upgrade price is $500 plus a $500 deposit (that will be refunded upon prompt return of the loaner transmission when the process is complete) and the cost of two (2) round trip UPS shipments.
